On Saturday, July 13, the 14th stage of the Tour de France 2024which will begin in Pau and will end in Saint Lary Soulan Pla d’Adet. The tour consists of 151.9 kilometers. The phase will start at 1:30 p.m. and will end at 17:17 hours approximately.
The entry into the Pyrenees will be one of the toughest stages of the edition, with a total of 4,000 metres of elevation gain and three consecutive highly difficult mountain passes, including the classic Tourmalet.
After the first 70 kilometres at a calm pace “to warm up”, the challenge of the day arrives. They will begin with the hard climb to Tourmalet (19 km at 7.4%) special category. After going down it, and without time to rest, you will find the port of Hourquette d’ Ancizan (8.2 km at 5.1%), second category. Finally, the port of special category Saint Lary Soulan Pla d’ Adet (10.6 km at 7.9%) will greet at the finish line those who have held on with their legs intact.
