Spartak footballer Alexander Sobolev fined for window tinting
Moscow Spartak and Russian national football team forward Alexander Sobolev was fined for tinting the front side windows of his car, Mash reports.
The footballer, who was driving a Mercedes-Benz G-class, was stopped by traffic police officers on Vorobyovy Gory on July 2. Sobolev was issued a fine of 500 rubles and was also threatened with administrative arrest. Now the athlete needs to remove the dark film from the windows.
On July 9, it was reported that Sobolev was close to transferring to St. Petersburg’s Zenit. It was specified that the blue-white-blues would pay 12 million euros for him.
Last season of the Russian Premier League, Sobolev scored 5 goals and made 6 assists in 27 matches. His current contract with the red-and-whites runs until the summer of 2026.
