BBC commentator Hunt’s wife and daughters killed with crossbow in UK
The wife and two daughters of BBC sports commentator John Hunt were killed at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, The Times reported, citing local police.
Law enforcement spokesman John Simpson said the crime took place on the evening of July 9. According to the source, the alleged perpetrator is Kyle Clifford, the ex-boyfriend of one of Hunt’s daughters, 26-year-old Louise. He was armed with a crossbow and fired it. Clifford tied up the victims before the massacre.
The perpetrator was put on the wanted list. It is noted that armed police officers and specialized search teams are involved in the operation to catch Clifford.
Hunt specialises in horse racing coverage and was providing radio commentary on horse racing at Lingfield Racecourse, south of London, at the time of the murder.
