The debut of the orense fighter is approaching in the famous UFC cage, in Anaheim, California.
Michael Morales (12-0 MMA) faces his first challenge within the Ultimate Fighting Championship on January 22, when he climbs into the cage of the Honda Center, in Anaheim, California, to face Trevin Giles (14-3- 0 MMA, 5-3 UFC) in a match of the preliminaries stage of the UFC 270 function.
Morales, who won last September in a match on the Dana White’s Contender Series program in Las Vegas, is part of the Ngannou vs. I win.
“We follow the tracks,” wrote the Ecuadorian days ago in a post In his Instagram account with which he shows photographs with the Mexican Brandon Moreno, who at the UFC 270 event will expose the flyweight belt for the first time.
Morales and Moreno are gym partners at the Entram Gym in Tijuana, Mexico; so they apparently coincided last week in the border city training with a view to their respective fights in the United States.
According to the shared images, Moreno has given advice to the Ecuadorian welterweight about how he should face his UFC debut.
“That, carnal,” said the Mexican in Morales’ publication.
UFC 270’s main event will be between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane at the heavyweight division, and the co-star between Moreno and Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo at featherweight. Belts will be unified in both lawsuits.
The duel that Morales will star against the American Giles is the fifth in ascending order (the last of the preliminaries), according to the page of ESPN.
On January 22, the fighter from Pasaje (El Oro) will become the third tricolor representative to climb the famous octagon after Rudyard Moncayo, in 1995, and Marlon Chito Vera, in 2014. (D)
