Morata is hit after fan invades the pitch and raises doubts about his presence in the final

This Tuesday, the Spain won, in a comeback, the France by 2 a 1 and secured his qualification for the final of the Euro 2024. In the celebration of the qualification, after the final whistle, Morata, a Spanish striker, was hit by a security guard who was trying to prevent fans from invading the pitch at the Allianz Arena, in Munich.

The stadium security guard, while trying to stop the Spanish fans, slipped and hit Morata’s right leg. The striker, as soon as he felt the blow, immediately put his hands on his ankle and began to limp. After a few minutes, Spain’s number 7 left the pitch accompanied and limping.

The Euro Cup final is scheduled for next Sunday (14), at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Thus, Morata raises doubts as to whether he will be available to Luís de la Fuente’s technical committee.

In this European Championship, the striker played all six matches with the Spanish national team and scored just once and did not provide any assists.

With seven goals in the history of the Euro, Álvaro Morata is the third highest scorer in the competition, tied with Alan Shearer (England) and Griezmann (France). The athlete is only behind Michel Platini (France), with nine goals, and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) who has scored 14 goals.
