Coach Rodionenko: There’s no point in rooting for Biles at the Games, she’s nobody without pills
Senior coach of the Russian national artistic gymnastics team Valentina Rodionenko criticized American gymnast Simone Biles. Her words are reported by Sport-Express.
Rodionenko said that there is no point in rooting for Biles at the 2024 Games in Paris. “We know that she is nobody without pills. If she didn’t get through it in Japan (at the 2020 Olympics), then she will get the green light in France. There is nothing to surprise us with,” the specialist noted.
Earlier, Rodionenko was outraged by Biles’ victories at the 2023 World Championships. “This is outrageous! What is this? Gymnastics? It’s scary to look at! Do you think there is any aesthetics there? There is simply nothing to look at. She has no class performance, only difficulty,” the coach said.
Biles is a four-time Olympic champion. She won all of her gold medals at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. The 27-year-old athlete also has 23 victories at world championships.
