The competition had the participation of seven academies and clubs from Guayas, while there was one from Santa Elena.

The academy Silvia Teran, from Salinas, won the Gymnastic Festival that marked the closing of the season and was held in the Colosseum Voltaire Paladins Polo, with the presence of eight clubs and gymnastics academies from Guayas and one from Santa Elena. The tests were carried out in two days.

“The objective was the integration of our gymnasts and live a sports party, leaving a bit of the context of the competitions of this sport, since gymnastics is an individual sport but for the end of the year choreographies are organized by groups of at least five gymnasts, who present dances full of joy, rhythms and brilliance. The creativity of each of the groups stands out so that their choreography is in accordance with the costume and the music that each of the participants are presenting ”, he said. Eva Olaya, president of the Guayas Gymnastics Association.

The time of each choreography is 1 minute and 30 seconds. The judges perform the evaluation based on different parameters such as execution of the movement, execution of skills, uniformity, use of space, communication and projection, choreography, staging, complex of movement and difficulties of skills and special effects.

For the awarding of the gymnasts, the first three places are considered with medals to each of the members of the groups.

Results

Among the results of the day, it is stated that in the category of the youngest, from 2 to 3 years old, the club Ready to Flip ranked first with his group called Las Squirrels, the club Roll & Twist finished second with his team Candys Girls; while the third place was occupied by the group of Chikys, from the club Ready to Flip.

In the category of 4 to 7 years rookies, group A was won by the team Sleight Ride, from college Delta; in second place were Las Fairies, from the club Ready to Flip; and third were Reno, of the club Roll & Twist, Y The Tigers, del club Ready to Flip.

In group B the team of the Lola Cow, from Roll & Twist, finished first; escorted him Kinger Christmas Eve, from the Delta school; and third, Ready Friends, de Ready To Flip.

For its part, group C dominated it Snowdoll Whitesby Roll & Twist; the team escorted him Christmas starsby Gymnastics by Roll; while third finished the team River, del club Ready to Flip.

Junior rookies, Group A, left as the winner The Ready Show, from the Ready to Flip club; while second ended Dance Girls, of the Roll & Twist; and third, Snowdoll White, also from Roll & Twits.

In group B the first place was occupied Sweet Red, del club Roll & Twist; Snowflakes, from college Delta, was second; Y Power Puf Girls, from the Ready to Flip club, he settled into the third locker.

In junior intermediate the victory was for the group Cats with Boots, second place went to The Jackson (males), both teams from the Ready to Flip club; while in the third box there was a tie between Oh Santa Y Power Girls, teams belonging to the club Gymnastics at Roll.

Second day of testing

On the second day of competitions, the titles were also disputed by groups, thus in the category 4-7 years rookies, group A was dominated by the academy Silvia Terán; second place went to Effort Ballet Dance and Nutrition; while in the third box there was a tie between gift dolls, del club Roll & Twist, y 24K, de Ready to Flip.

Group B won it Timber, from the Ready to Flip club; the second place was occupied Funky Girlsby Roll & Twist; and third culminated A Ready World, de Ready to Flip.

In the junior rookie category, the Silvia Terán Academy Group A won; the group escorted him Power Girls, of the Roll & Twist; and in third place they culminated The Sleeping Beauties, del Ready to Flip, y Snowf Flakes, del Roll & Twist.

Group B left the team Queens Trainning as the best; Power Full Girls finished second, both from the Roll & Twist club; and in third place there was a tie between the Ice princesses Y Girls and Fun, del club Ready to Flip.

In the intermediate category, junior category, group A was for Wepa, Ready to Flip; the second place went to Shouters; while Pump Girls, both of the Roll & Twist, was third.

In group A, on the second day, the winner was the group Wepa, from the Ready to Flip club; while the second box was occupied by the team Shouters and third ended Pump Girls, both teams from the Roll & Twist club.

In the advanced category the first place went to Spanish kittens, of the Rhythmic club Ready To Flip, and second place was taken Red Christmas, of the Guayas Gymnastics Association. (D)
