Malinovskaya recommended doing strength and cardio training in the water. She noted that all muscles are involved during swimming, while there is no load on the spine and joints. Swimming also calms the nervous system, increases the body’s endurance and trains the heart.
Earlier, cardiologist Asiyat Khachirova named the types of sports that strengthen the heart best. According to her, such sports include swimming, cycling, Nordic walking and aerobics.
