Russian biathlete compares emotions from performing at domestic and international competitions

Serokhvostov: emotions from domestic and international starts are incomparable

Russian biathlete Daniil Serokhvostov compared the emotions of performing at domestic and international competitions. He is quoted by Metaratings.

According to him, after victories at the Commonwealth Cup, the Russian Cup and Championship, the emotions pass within half an hour. “When we were at the World Cup, the taste of victory in relays and getting into the top ten in individual races cannot be compared to anything. You are “high” for a few days after that,” noted Serokhvostov.

In April, the executive director of the Russian Biathlon Union, Alexander Pak, spoke about the specifics of holding the Commonwealth Cup stage in Murmansk. According to him, the tracks there are better than in Norway.

Russians and Belarusians do not participate in international competitions by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU). The order came into force in March 2022 and will remain in effect until further notice.
