He Sunday, July 7th will be disputed ninth stage of the 2024 Tour de Franceafter which the first day of rest of the edition will arrive, well deserved after nine days of incessant pedaling. The stage of mid-mountain will start in Troyes around 13:15 and will end in the same place, around 17:49, after traveling 199 kilometers.

Ahead they will have four fourth-category mountain passesalthough the path is full of short but intense ups and downs, which can cause problems for some due to fatigue accumulated over days.

Both the start and the end of the stage will be calm, since all the battle is concentrated in the center. The mountain passes that they will have to overcome are the Val Frion (2.2 km, 5% gradient), Chacenay (3km, at 4.3%), Bergeres (1.7 km, 5.2%) and Baroville (2.8 km, 4.8%).

After this stage, a first real assessment of the general classification will be made and the leader will be able to enjoy an extra day in the yellow jersey.
