So does Paulo Sousa, who has spoken a lot and in beautiful words about the national team, and in the end wants to leave her just before the World Cup play-offs.

The history of football knows various cases, but there was no such thing in the national team for a long time. The case of Julen Lopetegui, who before the 2018 World Cup in Russia negotiated a contract with Real Madrid behind the back of the Spanish association, is recalled, for which the federation officials decided to dismiss him before the tournament began. There was also Ronald Koeman, who left the Dutch for Barcelona after his promotion to the Euro. However, Sousa overcame Lopetegui and Koeman as he was leaving the team halfway to the big party. The Portuguese entered a higher level of disloyalty.

It turned out that the cool attitude of the Portuguese to work in the national team is not accidental – he has never taken this job seriously, and the last days are the best proof of this. There are theories that maybe he wanted to lose the match with Hungary in order to force PZPN to be dismissed?
