On Thursday, July 4th, the Tour de France 2024 will once again contest a flat stage in the sixth stage of the edition. The cyclists will leave from Macon and they will arrive at Dijon after touring 163.5 kilometersThe race will start at 13:35 and the first runners are expected to cross the finish line at around 17:19.

Except for a single fourth-category climb at the start of the ride, the stage will be completely flat. It will be a good opportunity for those aspiring to win the green jerseyThe riders will also benefit from a chance to give their legs a rest before the individual time trial on stage seven, where the leaders’ jersey contenders will have to measure up.

The port of Bois Clair This will be the only obstacle that the riders will have to face. Otherwise, there will be no major surprises and the stage is expected to pass off as normal.
