Nutritionist Noev called figure skater Zagitova’s words about eating once a day nonsense
Nutritionist Alexandra Noev commented on the words of Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova, who said that she eats once a day. Her words are quoted by Sport24.
The nutritionist said that from the point of view of healthy eating, it is completely abnormal to eat once a day, since Zagitova could develop gastrointestinal diseases. “Humans as a species are not adapted to a one-time meal. And it is complete nonsense to reject this,” she considered.
Previously, Zagitova said that she eats once a day, giving preference to meat, cereals and vegetables. “I have enough. When I’m hungry, efficiency increases, I’m angry,” she said.
Zagitova is the only single figure skater in the history of Russia who has won all the titles in world figure skating. She became the 2018 Olympic champion, world and European champion, and also the winner of the Grand Prix final. In 2019, the figure skater paused her career, focusing on her work as a TV presenter.
