Alina Zagitova: If nothing hurts, it means you died a long time ago
Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova named her life credo. Her words are quoted by BUSINESS Online.
Zagitova said that she trained with a hockey coach during her vacation. “The phrase that stayed in my head when my whole body was aching: ‘If you get out of bed and nothing hurts, then you’ve been dead for a long time.’ And I go through life with that phrase,” the figure skater noted.
On June 25, Zagitova announced that she was going to enroll in a master’s program. The athlete noted that she does not want to reveal all the secrets and will share her future plans after receiving her diploma. She studied at the Institute of Public Service and Management of the Presidential Academy.
Zagitova is the only single figure skater in the history of Russia who has won all the titles in world figure skating. She won the Olympics in 2018, became the world and European champion, and also the winner of the Grand Prix final. In 2019, the figure skater paused her career, focusing on her work as a TV presenter.
