Belgian Football Federation Apologizes for Player’s Song About Mbappe
Belgium has apologized for a song by national team defender Amadou Onan about hitting Kylian Mbappe in the legs. RMC Sport writes about this.
“Yesterday a video was posted on social networks in which Onana talks about how he would hit Mbappe in the shin. What was posted on our networks was humorous. It was not fully understood and we decided to remove the video,” the Belgian Football Federation said.
The official social media accounts of the Belgian national team published a video where the team’s midfielder Onana, together with comedian Pablo Andres, sing a song about the star of the French national team, Kylian Mbappe. “Who is it, who is going to kick Mbappe in the shin? It’s Onana,” these are the words heard in the video.
Earlier it became known that the Belgian national team will play France in the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024. This meeting will take place on July 1 in Dusseldorf. The match will start at 19:00 Moscow time.
