Ukrainian goalkeeper Lunin may become a teammate of Russian Safonov at PSG

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which previously bought Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, is interested in the transfer of Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrei Lunin. Defensa Central writes about this.

PSG are monitoring the situation around Lunin, as he could lose his place as Real Madrid’s starting goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois recovers from an injury. The Spanish club does not plan to prevent the Ukrainian from leaving if he decides to change teams.

It was previously reported that Lunin wanted a salary increase in order to stay at Real. It was noted that the Ukrainian demanded a salary increase to the level of Thibaut Courtois. The Madrid club was not ready to agree to such conditions.

On June 14, PSG announced the transfer of Russian goalkeeper Safonov. The goalkeeper’s contract with the club from the French capital runs until 2029.
