IOC clears eight more Russian athletes for 2024 Olympics
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) published on its website a new list of Russians eligible to participate in the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
Eight athletes were included in the list. In particular, tennis players Pavel Kotov and Anna Kalinskaya, canoeists Alexey Korovashkov and Zakhar Petrov, as well as judokas Valery Endovitsky, Alice Startseva, Dali Liluashvili and Makhmadbek Makhmadbekov.
Earlier, the IOC announced the names of the first Russians admitted to the 2024 Games. The list included eight tennis players, including Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev. There will be no Russian representatives at the Games in rowing, shooting, or modern pentathlon.
The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. Russians and Belarusians are allowed to compete as individual neutral athletes.
