Spain’s standout at the Euro Cup, Nico Williams reveals inspiration from Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo

Striker Nico Williams revealed this Friday that Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo are some of his inspirations in football. The 22-year-old athlete is one of Spain’s highlights, alongside Lamine Yamal, at the start of the Euro Cup.

“Lamine Yamal and I are very similar. As a child, I watched a lot of videos of Cristiano at Manchester United and Neymar at Santos and Barça, Robinho… It was street talent. I spent 24 hours a day in my neighborhood square playing football, dribbling. This has already been lost a little. Nico and Lamine have been impressing in the competition, with their dribbling and speed. The number 17 was also asked if he also watched videos of his teammate and answered in a relaxed manner.

“No! The son has to respect his father. We play a lot among ourselves. We get along really well on and off the field,” she said.
