Basque: Athleticek Leire Baños is coming to the 2027th

He Athletic Club and Leire Bathrooms have signed an agreement so that the midfielder wears red and white until the June 30, 2027. The player from Irun arrives in Lezama via transfer from Levante UD, where she has played 30 official matches this last season, including the Champions League.

Baños, 27, has accumulated more than 300 matches in the First Division in his eleven seasons in the elite. The first eight were with Real Sociedad (2013-2021), winning the 2019 Cup title, and the last three with the Granota team.

In statements released by the Bilbao entity after the signing of the contract held at the Ibaigane Palace in an event that he shared with the president, Jon Uriarte, and the director of women’s football, Xabier Arrieta, Baños has shown himself “nice to meet you” of his signing for Athletic.
