Elena Vyalbe was outraged by the broadcasts of Euro 2024 matches in Russia
The President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe was outraged by the fact that matches of the 2024 European Football Championship are being broadcast on the country’s federal television. Her words are quoted by Sport Express.
She found the meeting display strange. “There is no betrayal in this. But I’m offended. I understand that all football players and ardent fans are watching the championship. But this can be found on the Internet,” Vyalbe said.
The head of the FLGR also called for more broadcasting of Russian competitions. “Everyone is outraged that the BRICS Games were shown very little. Games have faded into the background. So far, the policy of our TV channels has not been reformatted in the right direction,” Vyalbe said.
The European Football Championship takes place from June 14 to July 14 in Germany. The Russian team was deprived of the opportunity to compete for access to the final part of the tournament.
