Peña II goes to the semifinals of the Cuatro y Medio de San Fermín, due to Artola’s injury

Jon Ander Peña has qualified for the semifinals of the Cuatro y Medio de San Fermín in 2024within the qualifying rounds of Baikothis Tuesday, because it is official that Iñaki Artola, with whom they were going to play this Friday, in Alegia, a place in those semifinals, will not be able to play that match due to injury. Specifically, Artola suffers an injury in the soleus. The festival has been suspended, and Peña II is, thus, waiting to know, on Friday, if his rival in the semifinal is Erik Jaka or Unai Lasowho face each other in Sestao. The semi-final will take place on Sunday, the 30th, in Elgeta.
According to Baiko, Artola has a muscle injury in the soleus of his left leg, which occurred last Friday in Arrasate. The forward has started physiotherapy treatment, the same source has indicated.
As things stand, Peña II will have Jaka or Laso as his opponent in the Baiko semi-final. The final, which will pit a pelota player from Baiko and another from Aspe face to face, is scheduled for July 7, San Fermín day, at the Navarra Arena.
