Bahrain-Victorious confirms Pello Bilbao in its team for the 2024 Tour de France

Pello Bilbao is part of the team that has announced Bahrain-Victorious for the 2024 Tour de Francethat begins this Saturday, June 29, in Florence. The cyclist from Gernika-Lumo will thus compete in the Tour de France for the fifth time in his sporting career, and will try to repeat its excellent performance in 2023; in the last edition, Pello Bilbao obtained a stage victory, in Issoire, and qualified in sixth position in the final general classification.
In this sense, this is what the Biscayan runner has pointed out, once his presence in the Tour has been confirmed: “My ambition, obviously, will be to try to win another stage. Last year was one of the most intense emotions I have experienced in my cycling career, and I would love to repeat it. There is nothing comparable to winning a stage of the Tour de France. Meanwhile, I will also be focused on the generaland I want to do my best possible race.”
The Colombian cyclist Santiago Buitrago will be the leader of Bahrain-Victorious in the 111th Tour de France; These are the other six runners who complete the formation of the Bahrain team for the test: Wout Poels, Matej Mohoric, Jack Haig, Fred Wright, Nikias Arndt and Phil Bauhaus.
