Bruno Fernandes celebrates Portugal’s qualification in the Euros and highlights Cristiano Ronaldo’s “altruism”

Even though they qualified, Portugal still has one more game to play in the group stage. To close Group F, the team will face, next Wednesday, at 4pm (Brasília time), Georgia. Bruno Fernandes preached focus on the duel, highlighting the importance of another triumph.

“We had already said this, everyone knows that our objective when coming here is to win, it cannot be anything else. The most important thing is to win all the games, we now have another very important one against Georgia, despite being in the position we are, we want to win, this is always important to be morally well. Playing for Portugal is also the obligation to win every game”, continued the Manchester United midfielder.

The midfielder concluded that, even with 100% success in this Euro Cup, the Portuguese team still has some adjustments to be made.

“We won the first game and got three points, now we won the second and we have six points, it’s the most we can get so far, but we know that there are game situations that we can improve. Everyone is up to the standard”, completed shirt 8.
