Bernardo Silva is chosen as the best player in the match between Türkiye and Portugal at Euro

Bernardo Silva scored Portugal’s first goal against Turkey and paved the way for the Portuguese to win the match 3-0 this Saturday afternoon, in the second round of Group F of the European Championship. The Manchester City player was named the best player in the match held at Signal Iduna Park, in Dortmund, Germany.

In addition to the goal that opened the scoring of the duel, Bernardo played a very participative game. Against the Turks, the midfielder had 69 actions with the ball, including four decisive passes. The 29-year-old player stood out in passing: 92% of passes were completed.

Bernardo arrived at the European Championship as one of Manchester City’s standouts last season. The midfielder played 51 games, scored 12 goals and provided ten assists. The English team was champion of the English Championship in the last round.

With the victory against Turkey, Portugal guaranteed qualification for the knockout stages as first place in Group F. Cristiano Ronaldo’s team won two victories in two games.
