“Our colleagues used physical force, pepper spray and batons. There are those arrested,” Berlin law enforcement agencies said. A spokesman for the German police said that he could not yet provide information on the number of victims and detainees.

A clash between fans and law enforcement officers occurred near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The Poles threw stones and bottles at the police.

Earlier it became known that one of the fans of the Polish national team fell from a three-meter height during the Euro 2024 match against the Austrian national team. He was hospitalized with serious injuries.

On June 21, the Polish national team suffered a second consecutive defeat at Euro 2024 and became the first team to lose its chance of reaching the playoffs. The day before, Michal Probez’s team lost to the Austrians 1:3.
