Usoa Ostolaza, Spanish champion in the online test

Usoa Ostolaza has been proclaimed champion of Spain 2024 in the online test. The one from Zarautz (Gipuzkoa) has been the best on the 116.8 kilometer route starting and finishing in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid).
In the last kilometers Mavi García attacked (Liv AlUla Jayco), and the one from Mallorca has placed itself at the head of the race. From behind Usoa Ostolaza and Iurani Blanco have come out for itboth from the Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi team. Ostolaza has hunted down García with 500 meters to go for the end. When there were 300 meters left to go, Ostolaza has accelerated, Mavi García has not been able to follow himand the zarauztarra has taken the victory.
Iurani Blanco was second at 5 seconds from Ostolaza and Mavi García third at 9 seconds. Ane Santesteban (Kutxa-Euskadi Labor Foundation) was sixth 33 seconds behind the winner.
Besides, Eneritz Vadillo has rounded off the great work of the Fundación Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi by winning the under-23 category online test. Therefore, the one from Gorliz (Bizkaia) is the Spanish champion of the under ’23 online test. Vadillo has raced alongside those in the elite category, has been eighth in the general classification and has won the title of her category. Second was Paula Blasi (Massi Baix) at 14 seconds and Third place went to Marina Garau (Cantanbria Deporte-Río Miera) one minute and 31 seconds from Vadillo.
