Star Kylian Mbappé, who broke his nose earlier this week, in France’s Euro debut, trained with a mask in the colors of the national flag this Thursday, in Leipzig, the day before the match against the Netherlands, for the second round of Group D, in which it is doubtful.
The national team captain did physical exercises with the rest of the group, although he was seen trying to adjust his mask during the first 15 minutes of training, in which the media was allowed to be present.
It was the first time that Mbappé wore this mask in training, where his initials (KM) are written and a rooster is drawn, one of the symbols of France.

Real Madrid’s new 25-year-old striker broke his nose on Monday during the 1-0 victory over Austria.
Before the afternoon training, coach Didier Deschamps highlighted that Mbappé’s recovery is progressing “in the right direction” and that they will do “everything possible to make him available” to face the Dutch on Friday, in a clash between the leaders from Group D.
“The nose is less swollen. We will decide at the last moment, based on how he is feeling,” he added.
With a simple bandage and no mask, Mbappé trained on Wednesday separately from his teammates, passing with the physical trainer. The star also took shots on goal along with the rest of the squad, without showing any signs of discomfort.
