Naia Landaluze renews with Athletic until 2026

Naia Landaluze has renewed for two seasons, until the end of the 2025-26 campaign, the contract that linked her to Athletic and which ended in this month of June, as announced this Tuesday by the red and white club.
Landaluze, 23, from Orozko, debuted in Athletic’s first team in June 2021, with Iraia Iturregi as coach. In the recently concluded campaign, under the command of David Aznar, she has been featured in 33 games, 28 in the F League and five in the Queen’s Cup, and, from her central position, she has scored two goals.
“Who was going to tell that five-year-old girl who played soccer simply for fun that she is here signing two more years. It’s incredible. They have given me the opportunity and I have known how to take advantage of it,” said the player, after signing her new contract.
