Sevilla announced this Monday the departure of defender Sergio Ramos. Thus, the Spanish athlete is free on the market to sign with a new team.

The experienced 36-year-old defender will publicly say goodbye this Tuesday, at 6am (Brasília time), in the team’s press room, accompanied by the president of Sevilla, José María del Nido Carrasco.
According to the Spanish team, Sergio Ramos expressed his desire to leave after realizing his dream of returning to the club that revealed him. After standing out for Sevilla in 2005, the defender moved to Real Madrid and became one of the Merengues’ greatest idols.
Last season, the defender played 37 games, with a total of 3,301 minutes on the field and seven goals scored. In total, adding up the numbers from his first spell at Sevilla, he played 87 games, scored ten times and provided one assist.
