Olympic medalist swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov considered the conditions for admission to the Games in Paris abnormal. Metaratings writes about this.

“In Paris, Russian athletes will not have the opportunity to give interviews; separate passages have been made for us. The conditions for participation are abnormal even from a human point of view,” Kolesnikov said.

Kolesnikov is a two-time Olympic medalist in swimming in 2020, a six-time world champion in short course. Earlier, he revealed his attitude towards Russians who want to compete at the Olympic Games, despite all the conditions. According to Kolesnikov, he is not going to condemn his compatriots, since each athlete must make a decision independently.

On June 15, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowed 14 Russians to participate in the Games in Paris. The IOC clarified that athletes will be allowed to compete if they accept an individual invitation and sign a document stating the need to comply with the conditions of participation in the Olympics.
