Striker Robert Lewandowski was injured during the friendly in which Poland beat Turkey 2-1, in Warsaw, this Monday, in the last test of the two teams before the European Championship dispute.
With pain in his right knee, Lewandowski had to be substituted in the first half (33 minutes) and his presence in the continental tournament is not guaranteed. Bad news for the Polish team, which could be without its captain and top scorer.
Robert Lewandowski was honored with a commemorative T-shirt by the President of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, and the Secretary General, Łukasz Wachowski! 🇵🇱

The next few days will be tense for Poland, which makes up Group D of the Euro alongside France, Austria and the Netherlands, its opponents in the debut, next Sunday.
The situation also worries Lewandowski himself, who, at 35, wants to play in his last major tournament for the national team.
Shortly before the number 9’s departure, Karol Swiderski opened the scoring against Turkey and had to be replaced after injuring his right knee while celebrating the goal (12 minutes).
Six days before the Euro debut, the witch is loose in Poland, which, last Friday, lost Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik, injured in a friendly against Ukraine (3-1 victory).
Milik underwent an arthroscopic meniscectomy on his left knee, Juventus said in a statement, without giving a timeline for the player’s recovery.
