Figure skater Alina Zagitova said that she is afraid of judgment of her appearance
Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova spoke about her phobia. Her words are quoted by Match TV.
According to the ex-athlete, she is afraid of judgment of her appearance from others. “I’m afraid that they will think about me in the wrong way, they won’t understand: I dressed wrong, did my hair wrong, my makeup is bad. Now I’m working through these fears,” said Zagitova.
The former figure skater added that the support of people helps her. “Many people say kind words to me, and with their help I become more confident. I understand that I am doing everything right. And doubts are bad,” Zagitova noted.
Zagitova is the only single figure skater in the history of Russia who has won all the titles in world figure skating. She became the 2018 Olympic champion, world and European champion, and also the winner of the Grand Prix final. In 2019, the figure skater paused her career, focusing on her work as a TV presenter.
