Russian Mirra Andreeva rose 15 places in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. This is reported on the organization’s website.

The 17-year-old athlete moved from 38th to 25th place. The best Russian woman in the ranking remains Daria Kasatkina, who lost one place and is in 14th place. Next to her are compatriots Lyudmila Samsonova and Ekaterina Alexandrova, who occupy 15th and 16th places, respectively.

At the concluded Roland Garros, Mirra Andreeva went further than all the tournament participants from Russia. She was eliminated at the semi-final stage.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Tennis Federation (RFF), Shamil Tarpishchev, announced the appearance of Andreeva in the top 4 Russian tennis players. He noted that this will allow her to play at the Olympics in Paris.
