Manchester United wants R$272 million to negotiate Sancho permanently

After the controversies caused behind the scenes at Manchester United, Englishman Jadon Sancho is expected to be traded in the middle of the year. According to the BBC Sportthe British team wants 40 million pounds (around R$272 million) to negotiate the player permanently.

Sancho spent the last six months of the 2023/24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and was important to the German team’s campaign towards runner-up in the Champions League.

In theory, Sancho would only leave United if Erik Ten Hag was retained as coach, as the player’s departure to Germany was the result of a disagreement with the coach. Now, however, the club would be willing to negotiate the athlete anyway.

Borussia Dortmund emerge as the main interested party, but the club wants another loan deal, while United want a permanent sale, knowing that transfer funds for next season will be limited due to financial fair play restrictions.

Other clubs in Europe would also be keeping an eye on the 24-year-old – Juventus, for example, has previously shown interest. Sancho arrived at Manchester United for around R$495 million in 2021. He still has two years left on his contract.
