Bobrovsky stopped 32 shots and became the first goalkeeper in Panthers history to make a shutout in the finals. In addition, the 35-year-old Russian became the oldest goalkeeper in NHL history to start the Stanley Cup finals with a shutout. He was named the first star of the match.
