Spartak veteran Gavrilov: football player Zinchenko owes me millions of rubles
Veteran of Moscow Spartak Yuri Gavrilov accused midfielder of the Ukrainian national team and London Arsenal Alexander Zinchenko of owing him millions. His words are quoted by Match TV.
Gavrilov stated that he helped transport the football player from Ukraine to Russia, after which he got him a job at Ufa and provided his family with accommodation at home for three years. When Zinchenko was offered to leave for the English Premier League (EPL), the player’s parents forgot about Gavrilov’s agent services. “Apparently, these people and his parents decided to do everything in such a way as, roughly speaking, to ditch me, and to put it mildly, to push me aside,” he said.
The veteran noted that Zinchenko and his family owe him millions of rubles. “When it was hard for him, he turned to me. And when everything became good for him, it turns out that I am not needed,” he concluded.
Zinchenko began his professional career at Ufa in 2015. He played there until the summer of 2016, after which he moved to the English Manchester City. Together with the “townspeople”, the athlete became a four-time champion of England and won the National Cup. In July 2023, he moved to London Arsenal.
