Rodnina approved Plushenko’s decision to recover millions of rubles from the departed Parsegova
Three-time Olympic champion in figure skating, State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina appreciated the decision of the Plushenko’s Angels figure skating academy to recover 1.9 million rubles from figure skater Arina Parsegova, who left the group. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“Plushenko’s academy is not free; some money was spent on training the student,” Rodnina approved of the coach’s decision. She stated that Plushenko has a private school, which he maintains at his own expense.
The civil case was submitted to the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow. Plushenko’s demands are based on the athlete’s unilateral refusal to fulfill the contract and commit agency actions. It is noted that the hearing of the case is scheduled for July 17, 2024.
Parsegova left Plushenko for coach Eteri Tutberidze in May 2023. Moreover, three years before that, she also studied in Tutberidze’s group.
