Ex-Spartak player Yeshchenko: investments in agribusiness were a pointless waste
Former Spartak football player Andrei Eshchenko spoke about the most senseless waste of money in his life. His words are quoted by Sport24.
Yeshchenko said that he decided to invest in agribusiness and bought land with greenhouses in the Krasnodar region to grow strawberries. “It was delicious, but now everything is idle there: there is no time to do it. I invested two million there – I think it’s the most senseless waste of money in my life,” he concluded.
Yeshchenko played for Spartak from 2016 to 2022. In total, the defender played in 109 matches for the Moscow club, scored one goal and made three assists. Together with the red and white, he became the champion of Russia and the winner of the country’s Super Cup.
Earlier, former Spartak defender Georgy Tigiev told how he spent several million rubles in a day and a half after winning the Russian Championship. “I decided to get together with friends and celebrate too. We met at 10 am. We were home at 10 pm the next day. Over the entire period, we changed 5-6 establishments,” he recalled.
