Tottenham announced the departure of four players for next season, this Wednesday. Athletes Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga will leave the club.
Defender Eric Dier had already been loaned by the English club to Bayern Munich in January. In March, the German team exercised its purchase option and acquired the player permanently until June 2025. The player spent nine and a half years at Tottenham and took to the field 365 times.
At the beginning of the year, winger Perisic was also loaned and went to HNK Hajduk Split, in Croatian football, his homeland, for six months. The player did not have his loan renewed and will be free on the market to sign with another team.
Now, Tottenham say goodbye to left-back Ryan Sessegnon and defender Japhet Tanganga. The first was purchased in 2021, coming from Fulham. As a defender, he was trained by the team’s youth teams and had been with the professional squad since the 2019/2020 season.
The two players are free on the market to sign with any club.
“We thank Japhet, Ryan, Eric and Ivan for their service to the club and wish them the best for the future,” Tottenham wrote on social media.
We can confirm the departures of Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon, Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic following the conclusion of their contracts.
