Figure skaters Petrosyan and Semenenko were included in the Russian national team for the new season
The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) has approved the composition of the national team for the new season 2024/2025. This is reported on the organization’s website.
For women’s singles, the current national champion Adelia Petrosyan is on the list. For men, Evgeniy Semenenko, who won the Russian Championship 2024, was included in the national team.
Pair skating and ice dancing also feature current title holders. These are the duets Anastasia Mishina / Alexander Gallyamov and Alexandra Stepanova / Ivan Bukin, respectively.
Russian figure skaters were banned from competing in tournaments under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU) in March 2022. The last major competition for domestic athletes was the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
