The head of the FLGR Elena Vyalbe spoke about the threats she receives
The head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, said that she periodically receives threats. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The functionary added that members of her family are also being threatened. “I won’t even say what they write. Law enforcement agencies are aware and are working on this case, I provided them with all the information,” said Vyalbe.
Earlier, Vyalbe spoke about her main fear. “I never, even as a child, jumped into the water upside down. Many people tried to persuade me, every single one of my children and grandchildren can dive upside down, but I can’t. I look at them and am happy, but I’m afraid to try it myself,” said Vyalbe.
Earlier, mixed-style fighter (MMA) Jeff Monson complained of bullying and threats from former compatriots, as well as family problems after renouncing American citizenship. The athlete also noted that he lost several friends, but does not regret his decision.
