Irina Viner called Margarita Mamun’s interview with her criticism an American order
The head of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFKhG) Irina Viner responded to the interview of Olympic champion Margarita Mamun with blogger Vita Kravchenko. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to the coach, the journalist was fulfilling an American order. “I know that she also wants to leave Russia, maybe this was all paid for and started after eight years,” said Wiener.
The head of the WFHG added that she often encountered betrayal in her life. “Rita Mamun was my favorite student, although she did not win a single World Championship medal in the all-around, but I hoped for her,” said Wiener.
On May 29, Mamun, in an interview with Kravchenko, commented on the attacks against her from Wiener, who called the athlete a creature and a beast. According to the gymnast, because of such tough communication, she often dreamed about the coach. According to Mamun, she did not deserve such treatment.
