In the Libertadores, 15 of the 16 classifieds have already been defined. The last vacancy will be released at the end of the week. In pot one, there will be the teams that were at the top of their respective groups: Fluminense, São Paulo, First in Group C (to be defined), Junior Barranquilla, Bolívar, Palmeiras, Atlético-MG and River Plate.
The runners-up: Colo-Colo, Talleres, Segundo from Group C (to be defined), Botafogo, Flamengo, San Lorenzo, Peñarol and Nacional will be in Pot 2.
This same model will be repeated in South America. The leaders of each group have already qualified directly for the round of 16: Independiente Medellín, Cruzeiro, Belgrano, Fortaleza, Sportivo Ameliano, Corinthians, Lanús and Racing.
These teams will face the winners of the playoffs, which will put the third-placed teams in the Libertadores brackets face to face with the second-placed teams in the Sudamericana. The duels will only be defined next week due to the postponement of the Grêmio and Inter games due to the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
The South American playoffs will be held on the weeks of July 16th and 23rd.
