Bayern Munich took a while, but managed to find a new coach for next season. This Wednesday, the team announced the signing of Belgian Vincent Kompany, who was at Burnley, in England.
At 38 years old, Kompany signed with Bayern until June 30, 2027. He arrives to replace Thomas Tuchel, who will not remain in the team for next season.

Kompany was eager about the opportunity to manage Bayern and told us a little about his style of play.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of Bayern. It’s a great honor to be able to work for this club. As a coach, you need to defend who you are as a person: I love having the ball, being creative, and we also have to be aggressive and courageous on the pitch. I’m Looking forward to the most basic things: working with the players, forming a team. When the foundation is established, success comes.
Managing Burnely last season, Kompany didn’t have much success. He finished the English Championship in 19th place, causing the team’s relegation to the Second Division.
In addition to Burnely, Kompany has already managed Anderlecht, in Belgium. As a player, he made history at Manchester City, where he won multiple titles.
