Fitness trainer Stanislav Pakhomov gave advice to people who want to start running. His words are quoted by RIAMO.
According to the specialist, inexperienced athletes should first limit themselves to walking, which will help the body adapt to simple physical activity. “You need to walk for 1-2 hours for a month, and then move on to light running. This approach will help you avoid overwork, maintain a high level of motivation and enjoy the process of cardio training,” said Pakhomov.
He also advised listening to your body while running. “Take breaks, slow down your running pace if you feel the need to. This will help you recover temporarily and avoid possible injuries,” the coach added.
Earlier, fitness trainer Alexander Kalagur spoke about the benefits of cardio exercise in the morning. According to him, such a start to the day helps to spend it successfully and productively.
