The Board of Directors of the American Boxing Confederation (AMBC), in ordinary meeting designated, with unanimous vote, Ecuador as headquarters of the Elite Continental Championship, in women and men, to be held in Guayaquil from March 22 to April 2 of next year.
It is Monday the authorities of the international organization will arrive and they will visit the probable venues that could be used for this event, among which are the coliseums Voltaire Paladins Polo Y Abel Jiménez Parra.
“This event is considered that of America’s highest boxing hierarchy. There were two national federations as candidates, Ecuador and Brazil, which applied to the cities of Guayaquil and Rio de Janeiro, respectively, to hold the international tournament ”, he highlighted Alex Gonzalez, president of the Ecuadorian Boxing Federation (FEB), not recognized by the Ecuadorian Olympic Committee (COE) nor by the Ministry of Sports; but yes by the International Amateur Boxing Association (have).
