Udinese, who beat Frosinone, away from home, 1-0, with a goal in the final stretch of the game, avoided falling to the Second Division of the Italian Championship, and relegated their opponents. Thus, Frosinone, Sassuolo and Salernitana will compete in Italian Serie B next season.
Champions, Inter Milan drew 2-2 with Hellas Verona and ended the title campaign with 94 points, 19 points behind Milan, runner-up. In addition to the two Milan teams, Juventus, Atalanta and Bologna secured places in the group stage of the Champions League.
Atalanta will still play one last game, delayed by the 29th round of the competition, against Fiorentina. With the 3-0 victory over Torino, the team can still seek third place in the tournament if they achieve another victory. Currently, Atalanta has 69 points, against 71 for Juventus.
