Juventus took to the field this Saturday against Monza to guarantee their third place in the Italian Championship. The match valid for the 38th round of the competition ended in a 2-0 victory for Velha Senhora.
The Turin team had Paolo Montero as their interim coach for the last round, due to the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri, which occurred after the Italian Cup title against Atalanta.
Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro played his last game defending Juve. In addition to captaining the team, he was crowned with a goal in his farewell.

The match featured greater possession of the ball by Monza, who were unable to transform their possession of the ball into goals during the 90 minutes.
Frederico Chiesa opened the scoring for Juventus in the 26th minute of the game. He shot a cross with his left foot after a good dribble to infiltrate the opponent’s area.
Soon after, in the 28th minute, it was Brazilian Alex Sandro’s turn to find the back of the net to increase the score. The full-back finished with his chest after a corner to score a beautiful goal in his farewell to the club.
The second half didn’t have any great moves for either side. Monza striker Alessio Zerbin, who had come on in the 20th minute of the second half, was sent off the field after receiving a second yellow card when the lights went out.
