Monaco announced this Saturday (25) the departure of French striker Wissam Ben Yedder, 33, after five seasons at the club.
“Thank you Wissam. A special page in the club’s history comes to an end,” Monaco wrote on their website.

Ben Yedder, whose contract ends on June 30, arrived at the Principality team in 2019, coming from Sevilla.
In total, he played 201 games for Monaco, in which he scored 118 goals, becoming the second highest scorer in the club’s history, behind former Italian player Delio Onnis (223 goals).
This season, Ben Yedder scored 16 goals in the French Championship, helping the team to finish in second place, with a direct place in the group stage of the Champions League.
His best phase at Monaco was in the 2021/2022 season, when he scored 25 goals in Ligue 1 and 33 in all competitions.
For the French national team, Ben Yedder was champion of the UEFA Nations League in 2021. Called up for the first time in 2018, the striker has 19 games and three goals scored for the “Bleus”.
