Krasnodar goalkeeper Safonov about moving to PSG: I’m already tired; there are croissants in Paris
Goalkeeper of Krasnodar and the Russian national team Matvey Safonov joked about a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain. His words are available on the Telegram channel of his girlfriend Marina Kondratyuk.
“We’re already in Paris, guys, so what? The media wrote the whole truth. Are you in Paris? – Kondratyuk turned to Safonov. In response, the footballer said: “Yes. I’m already tired of eating croissants.”
PSG’s interest in Safonov became known on May 22. It was reported that the French club had already contacted the management of Krasnodar about a possible transfer. It was noted that the Russian is considered as a backup to Gianluigi Donnarumma.
In the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Safonov played 29 matches, in which he missed 27 goals. The goalkeeper finished ten meetings with a clean sheet. He played 13 matches for the Russian national team.
